Matt "AXE" Axelson was born on June 25, 1976. The Operation Red Wings battle happened on June 28th 2005.

On the 4th of July, it was being reported that some of the men were still in the fight. 

Matt's death was reported to us on July 10th, 2005. 

19 MEN were Killed In Action that day. 19 STARS on the Shirt.
